Wish: She wished to be able to purify the source ‘unholy energy’, even if it meant killing herself in the process.

Personality: Cecille is a polite girl with a generous heart. Being a nun, she has learned to be Christ’s example, thus showing everyone respect and kindness. Although in secret, she has a ‘dark sense of humor’. You could say that she’s a little interested in the idea of ‘divine punishment’. Whenever she sees anything ‘unholy’ or ‘wrong’ she will instantly retaliate (often with the broom she carries around frequently). For example, if Cecille sees Halloween decorations around a nearby house, she WILL trash the place as brutally as possible. This is because she thinks she’s doing the right thing and delivering her own kind of ‘divine punishment’ to the ‘unholy images’ of Halloween pumpkins and whatnot.

Likes: Children (not in a pedo way), books, spicy things, punishment, biblical scriptures, the feeling of being able to help others, the feeling of being able to deliver divine punishment.

Dislikes: Unholy things, gluttonous thoughts, lustful thoughts, meat, lies, witches

Back story: Cecille was raised in an abbey in England. Apparently her parents abandoned her when she was very young due to financial problems and so she was raised in an abbey as a servant nun. She was very close to the Superior (or highest ranking priest) and treated her like his own child. When she turned 13, a strange sickness arose in the nearby villages. Since the region around them was quite a distance away from the main city of London, many villagers traveled to the abbey to be medically treated because the clinics in their villages could only tend to a certain number of people. The diseases’ symptoms included black blotches on the skin, heart attacks, fatigue and suicidal urges.
Soon the abbey also began to fill up and even the nuns began to catch the illness. Cecille was promoted to a medical nun but only because of the growing number of patients. In a matter of days, the first patient had died. Then one became two, then three, then four. Cecille knew that she had to do everything in her power to heal the patients.

After a week, the first two patients were released from the abbey. Hope returned to the abbey but it wasn’t for long. In a single night, all but three nuns and the Superior were inflicted with the plague.

Every night, Cecille would hear the never-ending moan of pain and suffering from the patients. Upon making her rounds, she saw at least six patients at the top of the abbey. Running as quickly as she could, Cecille managed to reach the top of the abbey but before she knew it, the six patients were dead. Cecille saw each of their lifeless bodies far below her. Crying in dismay, she heard Kyubey’s voice call out, “Make a promise with me and we can save the rest.”

Cecille only saw his silhouette in the moonlight and mistaken it for an angel. Agreeing, she wished to purify the source of sickness, the source of the dark energy, even if it meant destroying herself in the process. In a split second she felt a sudden twinge in her heart that seemed to lead her back into the abbey. The ‘angel’ was gone. As Cecille re-entered the abbey she saw the Superior vanish into a strange corridor that she had never seen the before. The twinge in her chest grew stronger but it seemed to tell her that she was walking on the right path.
Suddenly, she heard the sound of the Superior screaming. Cecille ran as fast as she could. Upon reaching a large door, she saw a massive horned lady holding the Superior in her hands. The twinge inside her heart somehow told her that this was it. This was the source of the sickness. The ‘angel’s’ voice told her to fight against it. With a mixture of rage, confusion and determination, she began to heel her strangth rising. In an instant, she became a magical girl. Using a crucifix shaped staff, she purged the witch, piecing 7 crosses inter her hands, feet and chest. Cecille ran to the Superior, whose body was already crushed by the witch. His weak body lifted his head towards Cecille and with the last of his energy he smiled.
The next morning, all the patients were released from the abbey. Cecille vowed that day to purify any witch in her path in order to avenge the death of the Superior and to save the many lives that she wasn’t able to earlier.
Kyubey informed her about Walpurgisnacht and in the next month, she moved to Mitakihara to aid the other puellas in their grand attempt to cleanse the great evil of Walpurgis Night.

Additional:
• Her wish allows her to detect the presence of any magical girl about to turn into a witch, any grief seed, and any witch (even at the same time as Kyubey can).
• She is a spell caster type puella. Her magic is cross-based. She can shoot cross-shaped projectiles as her basic attack. her cross staff allows her to force a heavy weight upon an enemy’s shoulders, pin them down and piece them down with magical cross shaped blades that fall from above and about the target (crucify)
• She is incredibly physically weak, slow and needs time to cast complex cross spells. Her heavy dress also prevents her from performing close combat.
• She is able to take down any witch but must pay a price (blood, sight, hearing) in order to do so. The aftermath includes intense pain. It's effect on Walpurgis Night is unknown.
• She is terrified by the darkness that grows in her soul gem. She fears that it might consume her and change her into the horned witch of her past.
• The space at the back of her dress is cross-shaped. Just saying.
